Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support financial operations in a hybrid role, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage balance sheet reconciliations, prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on cash disbursement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and record journal entries, including quarterly accruals
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and provide audit support
• Identify efficiencies and enhance internal controls through proactive process improvements

Required qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting, with an MBA or CPA preferred
• 4+ years of accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years in public accounting or at a public company
• Knowledge of GAAP practices and familiarity with project-level accounting and multi-entity structures
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in renewable energy accounting and with Sage Intacct is a plus
