Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To build a world-class accounting function, the fully remote Senior Accountant will manage significant areas of the accounting operation, ensuring processes are accurate, scalable, and audit-ready while supporting GAAP financial audits and month-end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare for and support GAAP financial audits, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Support month-end close processes, reconciliations, and identify opportunities for improving financial operations
• Assist with payroll accounting, including accruals and reconciliations, while building and developing the accounts payable process

Required qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting
• 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare organization or high-growth startup
• Experience with GAAP accounting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
• Strong expertise in Accounts Payable processes and vendor management
