Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Taking ownership of core accounting processes, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day operations, oversee the order to cash cycle, and ensure financial reporting accuracy while working remotely in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full accounts receivable cycle, including customer contract setup, invoicing, collections, and cash application
• Reconcile material accounts monthly and prepare supporting journal entries and account reconciliations
• Manage and review the work of an accounting assistant, establishing standards for quality and efficiency

Required qualifications

• 4-6 years of accounting experience with direct ownership of the closing process
• Strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition, particularly for subscription and usage-based contracts
• Experience in building processes and operating with ambiguity, without needing a predefined playbook
• Ability to connect data across systems, demonstrating curiosity and adaptability
• Proven experience in reviewing others' work and maintaining high-quality standards
