Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage financial reporting, initiate journal entries, and assist in developing new processes to enhance month-end close and financial reporting efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and post journal entries, prepare balance sheet account reconciliations, and resolve accounting issues
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and perform variance analysis for regional offices
• Assist in developing new processes to improve financial reporting and coordination between property and corporate accounting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Experience in multifamily property accounting is preferred
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a deep understanding of financial concepts
• Proven organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
