Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Owning the full accounting cycle in a remote, full-time capacity, the Senior Accountant will manage the monthly close process, ensure GAAP-compliant revenue recognition, and maintain the general ledger across multiple entities while supporting financial planning and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet management
• Ensure GAAP-compliant revenue recognition across various product lines and manage deferred revenue schedules
• Support financial planning and analysis by providing reliable data for budgeting and variance analysis

Required qualifications

• 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience with a focus on full month-end close ownership
• Hands-on experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition in a subscription-based business
• Experience in multi-entity accounting, including consolidations and intercompany transactions
• Strong technical foundation in US GAAP with the ability to apply judgment in accounting treatments
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and multi-tab models
