Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support the financial operations of the Health Ministry, the full-time remote Senior Accountant will manage general ledger account analysis, assist with audits, and prepare financial statements while ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct general ledger account analysis and reconciliations, preparing financial statements as needed
• Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring timely implementation of audit recommendations
• Identify opportunities for process optimization within the accounting function and implement best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance, or equivalent experience in healthcare accounting
• Three to five years of experience in accounting, with a focus on US GAAP and financial analysis
• Experience with various computer accounting systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Healthcare exposure and CPA certification preferred, but not required
