Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To ensure the integrity of financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards, the remote Senior Accountant will manage complex accounting areas, including lease accounting, internal control processes, and support for external audits in a full-time salaried role.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close activities
• Maintain and update lease schedules in accordance with ASC 842 and collaborate with teams to assess accounting implications
• Assist in the design, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls over financial reporting and support audit processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA designation or on CPA track preferred
• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, with public accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and experience with ERP systems and lease accounting tools
• Familiarity with audit processes and experience in private equity sponsored entities or multi-entity environments
