Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support the accounting department's core functions, the full-time remote Senior Accountant will manage property cost accounting processes, oversee an offshore accounting team, and prepare financial reports while identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and manage the accounting process for property costs, including reconciliations and expense accruals
• Oversee the daily operations of an offshore accounting team, providing guidance on various financial tasks
• Prepare monthly financial statements and compliance reports for specific funds while analyzing financial discrepancies

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• CPA certification preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with Yardi Voyager preferred
• Experience in real estate, preferably in rental property
