Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Owning month-end and year-end close responsibilities, the full-time Senior Accountant will ensure accuracy and audit readiness for assigned financial statement areas while providing guidance to junior staff in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Act as the primary resource for accounting treatment explanations and conduct preliminary technical research
• Maintain audit-ready workpapers and serve as the main contact for auditors regarding assigned areas

Required qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of full-cycle accounting experience with demonstrated ownership of close processes and reconciliations
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP, with the ability to articulate the rationale behind accounting entries
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a similar field is required
• Advanced Excel and ERP experience are necessary
• CPA preferred; candidates actively pursuing certification will be supported
