Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support the company's accounting operations, the remote Senior Accountant will manage month-end and year-end close activities, prepare and review financial statements, and analyze financial results while ensuring accuracy and integrity in a growing energy sector organization.

Key responsibilities:

• Own month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the energy sector
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with financial statement preparation and compliance requirements
