Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting the accounting team during a financial system implementation, the full-time Senior Accountant will provide backup for cash accounting, Accounts Receivable (AR), and revenue accounting while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide backup support for accounting functions including cash accounting and AR
• Process and analyze financial transactions, preparing and maintaining accurate financial records
• Assist with month-end accounting activities and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience with a solid understanding of accounting principles
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting
• Experience with cash accounting, Accounts Receivable (AR), and revenue accounting
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to changing priorities
