Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting a growing organization in the Tampa Bay area, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage period-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and vendor activity while primarily working from home.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily and weekly sales reporting, sales tax filings, and vendor invoice processing
• Support period-end close activities, maintain balance sheet reconciliations, and prepare adjusting journal entries
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and assist with external audit requests

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Corporate accounting experience in a staff accountant or senior accountant role
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables
• Experience with close, reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger activity
• Ability to work effectively with accounting leadership and external auditors
