Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing organization in the energy sector, the remote Senior Accountant will manage accounting operations, ensure financial reporting accuracy, and drive process improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Own month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification or equivalent preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with financial statement preparation and compliance requirements
