Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Accountant will prepare journal entries, analyze revenue recognition, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial reporting and support company growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations to support monthly and year-end close activities
• Analyze billing and invoice data to ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with accounting standards
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff while participating in process improvement initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 3-8 years of progressive corporate accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with NetSuite ERP and BILL software
