Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Leading day-to-day accounting operations, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage client accounting engagements, oversee month-end close processes, and coach junior team members in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close for a portfolio of clients
• Review and direct the accurate recording of financial transactions and manage payroll processes
• Deliver complete financial statements and create financial analyses, KPIs, and operational reporting for clients

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification or equivalent preferred
• Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms
• Proven leadership experience in managing accounting teams
• Strong knowledge of payroll, sales, and use tax compliance requirements
