Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing Finance team, the remote Senior Accountant will manage the month-end close process, financial reporting, and technical accounting research, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements.

Key responsibilities:

• Own key areas of the month-end close process, including preparing complex journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist in developing guidance on accounting implications of new transactions and ensure compliance with US GAAP
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities, serving as a key point of contact for auditors

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is strongly preferred
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with a background in public accounting
• Strong knowledge and practical application of US GAAP, including experience with complex accounting topics
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to improve business processes (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly learn new accounting systems like Sage Intacct
