Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Owning the day-to-day financial operations in a full-time remote capacity, the Senior Accountant will manage cash visibility, billing and collections, vendor payments, and the month-end close process while building the internal accounting function from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily banking and cash management, ensuring accurate coding and reconciliation of transactions
• Manage accounts receivable and invoicing, including customer subscriptions and payment tracking
• Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and preparation of financial reporting and compliance documentation

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience with ownership of month-end close processes
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations
• Experience with subscription billing platforms such as Stripe
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and accurate transaction coding
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
