Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Providing financial support for multiple care centers, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage month-end closing processes, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with special projects while collaborating with various internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee pre-close and post-close activities for the month-end closing process, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for assigned care centers, ensuring timely research and resolution of reconciling items
• Communicate with care center staff and leadership to resolve accounting issues while delivering high levels of customer service

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Three or more years of experience as an Accountant in the healthcare field preferred
• Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and Microsoft Word preferred
• Experience with Pivot Tables, Vlookup, and Macros preferred
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively with various departments
