Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting the Corporate Controller, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage general-ledger accounting, including cash reconciliation, prepaid and accrual cycles, fixed-asset accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations, while working in a hybrid remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cash reconciliation and resolve variances promptly
• Oversee monthly prepaid expense schedules, accrual processes, and fixed-asset sub-ledger management
• Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis for government contracts and support audit schedules

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus
• 4-6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle month-end close
• Strong technical command of general-ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliations
• Experience with inventory accounting and familiarity with government-contract accounting
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with an integrated ERP/accounting platform
