Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the part-time Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting duties, assist with the monthly close process, and build strong relationships with various groups while working remotely with occasional travel for in-person events.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting duties in AP, AR, cash management, payroll, and GL
• Assist with the monthly close process, including posting journal entries and performing account reconciliations
• Maintain regular contact with various groups to ensure high levels of customer service and work product

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Experience with accounting software solutions such as QuickBooks Online or NetSuite
• Experience working in a fast-paced technology or professional services environment
