Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support a rapidly growing team, the remote Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting tasks, assist with the monthly close process, and maintain strong relationships with various groups while working from home, preferably located in major US cities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting duties in areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, payroll, and general ledger
• Assist with the monthly close process by posting journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and conducting ad-hoc financial analysis
• Build and maintain solid working relationships with various groups to ensure high levels of customer service and work product

Required qualifications

• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Experience with accounting software solutions such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or NetSuite
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced technology or professional services environment
• Experience implementing workflow automation or AI-enabled tools preferred
