Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support the Director of Finance, the remote contracted Senior Accountant will oversee global accounting operations, ensure the integrity of financial reporting, manage payroll processes, and enhance client invoicing while providing strategic insights for business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Director of Finance to ensure accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting and lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Oversee global payroll operations, ensuring compliance with international regulations and optimizing payroll platforms
• Manage end-to-end client invoicing and revenue tracking processes, collaborating with Sales and Operations teams for alignment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; MBA preferred
• CPA certification is strongly preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, and financial reporting
• Experience managing global payroll and familiarity with platforms such as Bitwage, Wise, Deel, and Payoneer
