Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support the Finance team, the full-time remote Senior Accountant will manage month-end activities and daily accounting operations, focusing on compensation and payroll accounting, benefits, and general ledger activities.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end accounting for compensation-related costs, including payroll journal entries and benefits accruals
• Execute monthly accounting close activities, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations while resolving reconciling items
• Collaborate with payroll and benefits teams to ensure accuracy of accounting entries and assist with audit requests

Required qualifications

• BS or BA in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years of progressive general ledger accounting experience, preferably in the software industry; CPA preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX internal controls
• Experience with Oracle Fusion/Blackline/Coupa is a plus
• Advanced MS Excel skills and familiarity with AI tools in accounting workflows are advantageous
