Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance with GAAP, the remote Senior Accountant will prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, analyze variances, and support audits while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring proper classification of transactions
• Reconcile general ledger accounts to subsidiary records monthly for accuracy
• Assist in financial statement preparation and support external audits

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting practices
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems, preferably Sage Intacct
