Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Owning key areas of monthly and quarterly close processes, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage financial reporting, compliance with US GAAP, and cross-functional partnerships in a remote role.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly and quarterly flux analyses and reporting packages while partnering with business stakeholders for accurate accounting
• Utilize AI tools to automate processes and support system implementations, maintaining strong internal controls and SOX compliance

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with ownership of the month-end close process
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accrual accounting
• Proficiency with NetSuite or equivalent ERP systems and experience leveraging automation tools
• Demonstrated ability to build cross-functional partnerships and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and complex formulas for audit-ready reporting
