Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support a financial services organization, the contract Senior Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records, assist with month-end close activities, and ensure compliance with GAAP while working fully remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and enter daily and month-end journal entries, ensuring accurate financial data
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations and assist with quarter and year-end audits
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support informed business decisions and participate in the ongoing ERP conversion

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 4+ years of experience in general ledger accounting
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
• Knowledge of public accounting principles and practices
• Experience with Oracle Financial software is a bonus
