Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support financial operations, the full-time Senior Accountant will perform advanced accounting and financial reporting functions, maintain the general ledger, assist with regulatory reporting, and collaborate with various departments in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger through journal entries and reconciliations
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and prepare financial analyses for decision-making
• Support regulatory reporting and compliance, including preparation of the NCUA Call Report

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
• 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a financial institution or credit union
• Experience with general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close activities
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
