Senior Accountant
Job Summary
Owning the general ledger and monthly close processes, the full-time Senior Accountant will ensure accurate financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations while leveraging AI and automation to enhance accounting efficiency in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end general ledger accounting, including journal entries and maintaining the chart of accounts
- Complete monthly reconciliations across all balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Conduct monthly variance analysis to compare actuals to expectations and identify areas needing attention
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-3 years of accounting experience
- Working knowledge of GAAP
