Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting the day-to-day accounting and financial management needs, the full-time remote Senior Accountant will oversee month-end activities, maintain accurate financial records, and provide financial insights to management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements and analyze results against budgets and forecasts
• Collaborate with management on financial performance and support audits and compliance efforts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• CPA designation or active progress toward a CPA designation preferred
• Five or more years of progressive accounting experience, particularly with month-end close and financial reporting
• Experience in a senior accountant or similar role, preferably within manufacturing or automotive sectors
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
