Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing finance team, the remote Senior Accountant will manage the monthly and quarterly close processes, payroll, and customer invoicing while implementing process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and complete the monthly and quarterly close processes, including accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and process semi-monthly payroll and maintain employee records in the payroll system
• Support tax and compliance filings, prepare audit schedules, and document accounting policies and internal controls

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, including general ledger, payroll, and month-end close responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, including ASC 606
• CPA (active or intending to pursue licensure) is highly preferred
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including lookups and pivot tables
