Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Controller, the full-time remote Senior Accountant will manage full-cycle accounts payable and receivable, perform monthly reconciliations, and maintain accurate financial reporting to ensure the integrity of the company's financial foundation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle accounts payable, including vendor onboarding and payment processing
• Manage accounts receivable tasks such as invoicing, cash application, and collections follow-up
• Conduct monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and support journal entry preparation for financial closes

Required qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a high-volume transactional environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP and its application to real transactions
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment, preferably within the Eastern Time Zone
