Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting functions in a full-time remote role, responsible for full-cycle accounts payable and receivable, monthly reconciliations, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee full-cycle accounts payable, including vendor onboarding and payment processing
• Manage accounts receivable tasks such as invoicing, cash application, and collections follow-up
• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the general ledger in compliance with GAAP

Required qualifications:

• 3 to 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a high-volume transactional environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong understanding of GAAP and hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
• Ability to communicate accounting issues clearly to non-finance personnel
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment, preferably located in the Eastern Time Zone
