Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support financial operations, the full-time Senior Accountant will perform various accounting activities, including account reconciliation, financial analysis, and preparing financial reports, while working remotely and collaborating with department managers to address budget variances.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements, including account reconciliations and journal entries
• Assist with audits and tax filings, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Supervise and train staff accountants, providing guidance on accounting processes and policies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Three years of general accounting experience or one year of healthcare-specific accounting
• Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis
• Familiarity with accounting software and automated general ledger systems
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
