Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support the financial operations of the organization, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage the accounting function for the Foundation and its US subsidiary, focusing on procure-to-pay and order-to-cash processes, financial reporting, and system integrations in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and optimize end-to-end procure-to-pay and order-to-cash processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Lead the onboarding of new financial systems and automate accounts receivable while managing the finance tech stack
• Prepare and support month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards

Required qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 3-5 years of experience in public accounting and industry, preferably with a CPA certification
• Proficient in accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks, with experience in automation-friendly databases
• Familiarity with blockchain technology and digital asset reconciliation
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments, demonstrating adaptability and accuracy under changing conditions
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, capable of identifying and addressing potential control gaps
