Job Summary
To support a growing finance team, the full-time Senior Accountant will prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, enhance month-end close processes, and ensure compliance with GAAP while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations
- Maintain and improve month-end close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations
- Identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI tools to enhance accounting efficiency
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 3-4 years of experience in public and private accounting
- CPA preferred
- Experience with complex accounting areas such as revenue recognition and inventory
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working in a remote setting
