Senior Accountant
Job Summary
Owning the general ledger and month-end close processes, the full-time Senior Accountant will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain internal controls, and support external audits in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, promptly investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP and support external audits with necessary documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CA preferred
- 3-5 years of accounting experience focused on general ledger and month-end close
- Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel
