Senior Accountant
Job Summary
Detail-driven and experienced, the remote Senior Accountant will manage the monthly close and financial reporting processes while supporting lease and operating expense accounting, ensuring accurate GAAP reporting and SOX compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and stakeholder communication
- Support lease, fixed asset, and software capitalization accounting, ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and meet performance targets
Required qualifications
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in public accounting or a high-growth tech environment
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and revenue recognition guidance
- CPA certification is a strong plus
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle or SQL
