Senior Accountant
Job Summary
To support the company's financial operations, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage month-end close processes, financial reporting, and compliance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with month-end financial statement close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Own key areas of the close process, such as month-end accruals and fixed assets
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance internal controls and expedite close
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting with 3-4 years of experience in public and/or corporate accounting
- CPA or CPA eligible preferred
- Experience with month-end close and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley
- Proficiency with general ledger software, ideally NetSuite or Oracle
