Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing Finance team, the fully remote Senior Accountant will manage the monthly close process, prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP, and maintain the general ledger across multiple entities while contributing to the development of accounting policies and controls.

Key responsibilities

• Own key components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Prepare accurate financial statements and analyze results to identify variances
• Support the design and improvement of accounting processes and internal controls as the organization scales

Required qualifications

• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger accounting and month-end close
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in multi-entity accounting, particularly in healthcare services organizations, is a plus
• Comfortable with accounting systems and proficient in Google Suite/Microsoft Office
