Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Responsible for various areas of general accounting operations for multiple asset-managed portfolios, the full-time Senior Accountant will complete monthly, quarterly, and annual close tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accounting processes to maintain the general ledger in compliance with US GAAP and company policies
• Complete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities for timely financial reporting and compliance
• Prepare periodic journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations while conducting ad hoc financial analyses for management and stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with an accounting concentration
• 3+ years of financial accounting experience or auditing, preferably with a Big4 accounting firm
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of US generally accepted accounting principles and ability to implement accounting processes for newly onboarded portfolios
• Experience in multi-tasking across multiple portfolios and prioritizing critical deadlines
