Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing accounting team, the full-time remote Senior Accountant will manage core accounting tasks, assist in compliance with US GAAP, and drive process automation and improvements across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and support the financial close and reporting processes
• Research and maintain financial accounting principles and ensure compliance with US GAAP
• Design and document accounting processes, identifying opportunities for automation and improvements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience required; high-growth payment/fintech experience a plus
• 1-2 years of financial audit and/or consulting experience preferred
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting platforms such as Sage Intacct and FloQast required
