Senior Accountant
Job Summary
To support the accounting team, the full-time Senior Accountant will execute monthly and year-end closing procedures, assist with external audit requests, and continuously improve departmental processes in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of external audit requests and maintain compliance with internal and external requirements
- Identify and implement efficiencies in accounting processes and support strategic initiatives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of accounting experience, with public accounting experience as a plus
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with SOX/internal controls
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
