Senior Accountant
Job Summary
Supporting the scaling needs of the Finance Department, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage complex accounting areas including grant accounting and consolidation reporting while ensuring audit readiness and compliance in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and maintain consolidated financial reporting in NetSuite across affiliate sites
- Provide interim finance coverage to affiliate sites experiencing finance vacancies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Seven or more years of progressively responsible accounting experience
- Experience with grant accounting and reconciling grant activity between systems
- Experience supporting audits and financial statement preparation
- Advanced ERP experience, preferably with NetSuite
