Senior Accountant
Job Summary
Owning core accounting operations, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage month-end close processes, accounts payable, and audit readiness while leveraging AI and automation to enhance efficiency in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Manage accounts payable and employee reimbursements, ensuring accurate coding and timely accruals
- Collaborate with the Controller to identify automation opportunities and improve financial workflows
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a dynamic startup SaaS environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals and experience with AI tools for automation
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar GL/ERP systems
- Experience managing AP, expense, or corporate card programs is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA is a plus
