Senior Accountant
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Senior Accountant, this full-time remote or hybrid position will manage financial accounting and analysis for Lonely Planet, focusing on month-end close activities, revenue procedures, and financial reporting while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Perform revenue close procedures and prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP
- Assist with month-end close activities and provide financial support for forecasting and operating plans
- Prepare financial statements, conduct financial analyses, and support annual audit processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- 3+ years of relevant experience in progressively responsible roles
- Proficiency with financial systems and Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of public company accounting and reporting
- Experience with Workday, NetSuite, and MySQL is a plus
