Senior Accountant
Job Summary
To support a growing finance team, the hybrid Senior Accountant will manage customer contracts, ensure accurate billing, and maintain general ledger integrity while collaborating with Sales and Legal on contract negotiations.
Key responsibilities
- Review customer contracts and create Sales Orders in NetSuite for proper revenue accounting treatment
- Prepare and reconcile deferred revenue, unbilled AR, and commission accrual journal entries
- Record and review general ledger journal entries, supporting GL integrity through consistent reconciliation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field
- 5 years of accounting experience at a global, US-HQ'd company, with expertise in general ledger and month-end close
- Working knowledge of US GAAP, accrual accounting, and revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 exposure a plus)
- Proficiency with NetSuite required
- Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities independently and cross-functionally
