Senior Accountant
Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant, the full-time position will manage accounting for fixed assets and lease activities, prepare month-end journal entries, and reconcile accounts while leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review lease invoices and follow up with vendors on discrepancies
- Prepare and update lease schedules, including booking journal entries and reconciling accounts
- Collaborate with teams to support the month-end close process and audit documentation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 5+ years of experience in technology (SaaS) or start-up environments with lease accounting exposure
- Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Experience with NetSuite accounting software preferred
- Hands-on experience with AI tools and a strong interest in applying AI to accounting workflows
