Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing finance team, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close activities in a remote environment while ensuring accuracy and integrity across financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entry preparation and financial statement analysis
• Lead portions of the close process and support accurate, timely financial reporting
• Coordinate and support external audits, preparing audit schedules and responding to inquiries

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or MBA preferred
• 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience focused on general ledger accounting and financial reporting
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency with ERP systems, including experience with NetSuite or similar platforms
