Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles
• Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, identifying trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
• Oversee general ledger management, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with ERP systems and related third-party add-on software preferred
• A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly desirable
