Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant for a full-time remote position in the US.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare financial statements, insurance filings, and perform financial analyses
Ensure timely and accurate posting, balancing, and reconciliation of the general ledger
Collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience
4+ years of accounting-related experience, including lead and/or training capacity
Experience using accounting and auditing principles and practices, including GAAP and statutory accounting
Proficient in spreadsheet applications
Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in job duties
