Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant for a full-time remote position in the US.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements, insurance filings, and perform financial analyses
• Ensure timely and accurate posting, balancing, and reconciliation of the general ledger
• Collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of accounting-related experience, including lead and/or training capacity
• Experience using accounting and auditing principles and practices, including GAAP and statutory accounting
• Proficient in spreadsheet applications
• Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in job duties
